Aluminum foil is a thin and soft metal material, made of pure aluminum or aluminum alloy, usually cut and compressed into aluminum foil. It has excellent electrical and thermal conductivity and barrier properties, so it is widely used in many fields.
Aluminum foil is usually supplied in rolls, and its thickness can be very thin, usually between a few microns and hundreds of microns (1 micron = 0.001 mm). Its thinness makes the foil very flexible and can be bent, folded and packed with ease.
Aluminum foil can be divided into thick foil, single zero foil and double zero foil.
①Thick foil: Foil with a thickness of 0.1-0.2mm.
②Single zero foil: foil with a thickness of 0.01mm and less than 0.1mm/.
③ Double zero foil: Double zero foil refers to the aluminum foil with two zero foils after the decimal point of mm thickness, usually less than 0.01mm in thickness, dat is, 0.005~0.009mm aluminum foil.
1000-8000 series aluminum foil also has a corresponding range in thickness
1000 Series Aluminum Foil:
Thickness Range: 0.006 mm (0.0002 inches) Aan 0.2 mm (0.0079 inches)
2000 Series Aluminum Foil:
Thickness Range: 0.006 mm (0.0002 inches) Aan 0.2 mm (0.0079 inches)
3000 Series Aluminum Foil:
Thickness Range: 0.006 mm (0.0002 inches) Aan 0.2 mm (0.0079 inches)
4000 Series Aluminum Foil:
Thickness Range: 0.006 mm (0.0002 inches) Aan 0.2 mm (0.0079 inches)
5000 Series Aluminum Foil:
Thickness Range: 0.006 mm (0.0002 inches) Aan 0.2 mm (0.0079 inches)
6000 Series Aluminum Foil:
